Double Exposure DIY Project

Posted on 09 September 2010 by Brian Auer

Photojojo is a site that I follow on a regular basis, and they recently posted a pretty cool idea for us film photographers. We know that double exposures can produce some interesting results, but Photojojo puts a twist on things.

The basic idea is to shoot a roll of film, send it to a friend, and have them shoot it again. The final images will be a total surprise to both photographers (well… at least half a surprise). You can even decide on particular themes or subjects if you want to make it appear less random.

Try it out if you have some film buddies nearby. Or if you don’t, you could always try to find a willing participant in our Flickr group.
